Competing in the Wheelchair One category, Nazziwa surpassed Sumin Mutesi and Elizabeth Nassolo to win this prestigious award.

Joseph Ssewali, a hardworking and dynamic attacking forward, was named July’s best footballer. As the captain of the Ssingo Ssaza team, Ssewali showcased his impressive skills by scoring 5 of the 8 goals his team achieved in 4 games. His outstanding performance propelled Ssingo to the top of the 2024 Masaza Cup competition, accumulating 10 points in July and 11 points from 5 games in the group stage’s first round. Ssewali triumphed over competitors like Bululi’s Robert Ssewanyana, who netted three goals, and Enock Kabuuka to secure the award.

Rugby

Arone Ofoyrwoth was honored as the best rugby player for July, recognizing his exceptional skills and significant contributions to the sport. His dedication and performance exemplify excellence in the rugby community.

Boxing

Sulaiman Ssegawa, a WBC winner, was named the best boxer of the month. Ssegawa faced minimal competition for the award, highlighting his dominance and exceptional performance in the boxing ring.
